Are you Insured?

We carry umberella, general Liability, commercial auto, and workers compensation

Is the Deposit Refundable?

Our deposit is for retaining commitment to moving forward with the proposed project, and is only refundable due to contractors failure or refusal to perform contract to scope. This excludes all customer initiated cancellations not due to contractor negligence. Not to worry, The amount will be credited towards the full price of the project.

Do you use sub-contractors?

We do use subcontractors however we have strong and long term relationships with our subcontractors. We view them as part of our Apex Family. We have labor for all specialized trades. We also have multiple strong MEP subcontractor relationships to ensure competitive pricing.

What about payment ?

We require a 30% non refundable deposit. The purpose of this deposit is to secure commitment to the proposed project and to ensure that all pre-construction is completed properly. We do our best in preconstruction to gain agreement on our solutions. We also revisit finishes multiple times to ensure their are no misunderstandings.

How do we get started?

Our pre-construction process has six parts: project definition, project time table, site evaluation, project cost estimate, agreement, and essential tasks needed to start (site survey, soil tests, plan submittal and permits, etc)

Does every remodeling job need a permit?

Building codes have been established by most cities, towns and countries. They vary considerably from one jurisdiction to another. A building permit generally is required whenever structural work is involved or when the basic living area of the home is to be changed. A professional who works in your city or town every day will know the local requirements.

Why is it when I get three different estimates that the prices are so different?

Many factors go into pricing a remodeling job. The most obvious is making sure all estimates have the same materials and scope of work. If you cannot understand all the information, go back and ask the contractor for clarification. If you cannot get satisfactory written results, eliminate that contractor from future bidding. Reputable and quality contractors will have When a contractor carries all the proper and required licenses and insurances, his prices will be higher than a “Chuck in a Truck” or “fly by night” contractor. Not to mention the support it takes to consistently deliver a quality product.
